The Need

We invite others to partner with us to reach more people for Christ. Both the Liberti Church Network and Acts 29 have no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses. Like missionary organizations, Liberti and Acts 29 depends upon the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and churches. The constitutions are used to fund the activity of Church Planting and training future Pastors and Church Planters.

We rely on the financial generosity of people to support our church planting efforts. We trust that God is going to provide and that he is going to provide through you. We also believe and know that the monies given will not return void, in fact in many ways we see God blessing those who are a blessing to others. So we trust that you will see much fruit from your generosity of supporting Liberti Tampa.

Why we give

In the New Testament, Paul reminds Corinthian Christians of the motivating principle for their generosity is the generosity of Jesus Christ himself. Jesus gave up all of his eternal wealth that we might share in his riches. In doing so we learn generosity and joyfulness. Understanding the riches we possess in Christ frees us from unhealthy concern for our possessions and motivates us to invest our resources in God's eternal kingdom.

Paul goes on to outline principles for financially supporting the work of the Church. He writes: "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9.7-8)

Therefore, it is out of an experience and awareness of the gift we've received that we give to others.

At Liberti it is our practice to offer a sacrificial portion of all of our resources—time, skills, possessions—as an act of faith and gratitude in response to God's grace. During our worship services we provide a time for the congregation to give because giving itself is a tangible act of worship, an expression of deep gratitude to God for his generosity to us in Christ.
